Hello!
I'm Ann "Perisckaria/Annesiac" and this is a little website I've created to share and publish my thoughts in the forms of articles/essays on the media I enjoy, primarily games and music, but given the chance I'll probably also talk about anything else I feel like writing about. I've always personally enjoyed writing articles/essays, especially on the things I enjoy and have lots - perhaps too many - thoughts about, and I felt it'd be nice to have a website for sharing them, if not because it's much more convenient for sharing and also for storing. I also thought it'd be a nice chance to learn HTML/web design in general which is why I opted to use Neocities over a website that'd offer a blog template like WordPress. I also think the idea behind Neocities is generally very cool and I think personalised websites like this are just a cool thing to have :)

I'm very much still a beginner at HTML and this website is still very barebones, but I'll try to generally update it with more graphics, or improved layouts and the like as I get better at coding! I did the current layout myself, but it's quite simple and isn't exactly the most unique layout ever (mostly just basing it off my Bandcamp page, and the code in the css is pretty rough with some fixes I can only think of as "bandaid fixes" but hopefully as I improve I'll find better solutions to these,) and maybe I'll try out something whackier when I feel more comfortable with HTML/CSS ! Would also be nice to implement some JS stuff too but I'm holding off on those for now since it's mostly silly fun ideas I have for the site.

Currently the website is mostly just for me writing articles on other's games and music. I'll probably do stuff ranging from reviews of a piece of media to an exploration of it's themes, or at least an offering of a particular lens in which I feel a piece of media can be viewed in. I tend to have some more off-beat readings of some media - although not all the time of course - so, I hope I can provide some more unique perspectives too! I've decided to lovingly call these articles my "Annesic Episodes" hence the webpage title, so if any of them are interesting to please check them out over in posts! I'd also like to add a section for my own personal projects at some point too! Most of my projects are primarily musical and this could be a nice place to talk about them while I'm currently working on them or just thinking about them and all, and eventually my projects in other mediums too once I start to make them.
